New Popcorn Flavours Launched at the Food & Hotel Asia 2016
15 April 2016 (Singapore) - Gold Medal's exhibition booth at the biennial power-packed Food & Hotel Asia 2016, located at the USA Pavilion in Hall 7, welcomed once again, trade visitors, entrepreneurs, importers and exporters from the Asia Pacific region, throughout the four-day show.
The booth, which was managed by Straits Union, Gold Medal's authorised distributor in Singapore, showcased top-of-the-line equipment, including Pop-A-Lot and Funpop Antique popcorn machines, The Breeze cotton candy floss machine, El Nacho Grande nachos and cheese warmers, Lil Diggity hot dog equipment, as well as Belgian waffle and cone bakers.
The gourmet popcorn corn treat system and Cheddar cheese tumbler were popular amongst visitors, which was most expected, as today’s market sees a growing trend in private label gourmet popcorn, where innovative sweet and savoury flavours are coated with snacks, such as chocolates and nuts.
There is nothing more exciting than the sound of popping, and the smell of popcorn wafting, as visitors watched in anticipation as members of staff prepared live, and lured guests to a tasty treat of double-coated gourmet chocolate popcorn, blue raspberry, strawberry, red hot cinnamon, grape and maple popcorn. New tantalising savoury flavours, such as garlic parmesan, buffalo breadth, wasabi, sour cream and chives, barbecue, hot jalapeno, were also introduced during the show, much to the popcorn lovers' delight.

The business encompasses import and distribution of fun food equipment, ingredients and snack food items, to the food service and retail sectors, including hotels, private labels, restaurants and cafes, cinemas, and event organisers etc.
